Binary’s Starcraft II Team has been making big showings in the past week, with many high placements in tournaments and big wins against top players.

BinaryParadise has taken down many top players on the ladder and in tournaments.  In the z33k Sunday Daily, he beat SlayersLegalMind - a Korean player who competed in GSL Code A - making him one of the top 64 Korean players.  Also, on the ladder, he won against EG.Idra, one of the best and most famous foreign zergs, Liquid’Ret, commonly titled as the best European zerg, and Major, a former Broodwar pro and top terran player.

BinaryForbs, coming back from his 1 month vacation in China, has already begun to get back into things.  He placed top 8 in this weeks US CraftCup, a tournament with around 150 players, and also top in the z33k tournament, a tournament with around 130 players.

BinaryCandide managed to place top 4 in this week’s CraftCup, a great accomplishment, beating out over 100 other players, including notable pros.

BinaryRisk placed top 8 in this week’s CraftCup as well, putting 3 players from Binary Starcraft II into the top 8 of the tournament, an amazing showing for our team thus far.  He took out SixJax.DDE along the way, one of the top terrans in North America.  In the AlienWare tournament, Risk also beat coL.Cruncher, a premier protoss player and star of complexity gaming.

Lastly, BinaryMikey began to dig his heels in and decided that he wanted to become one of the top players.  He buckled down and played over 45 games every day for the past week, even though he works almost full-time.  His hard work paid off, placing in the top 8 of the z33k tournament and beating many notable players.  It was an impressive run and his hard work is sure to show more results in the future.
