A lot of people noticed our recent “Protoss vs. Zerg Opener” Tutorial that Candide posted on Youtube about 2 weeks ago, and we’ve also had a large number of people asking for more tutorials and lessons. We don’t have anything set in stone yet, and we won’t until a few more things are finalized in regards to the website. For the time being though, a couple of our players have offered to volunteer some of their free time to making some tutorial videos, and we’re also taking into consideration a few different options for the personalized lessons.
What does this mean for you? This means that you’ll have one of North America’s top StarCraft 2 teams trading away some of our best-kept secrets to you via Youtube, for FREE! The actual streamed lessons will more than likely have a small price tag on them, but we’ll make sure that they are affordable to everyone. The proceeds from these lessons will be put towards new prizes for the contests and giveaways that we’re planning on having throughout 2012.
Basically, if you want to learn a few things here and there, we’ll have some videos up on Youtube whenever our players have the free time to do them. If you want to make your way into becoming one of the top SC2 players around, be willing to donate a few bucks here and there for our guys to help you out. And as mentioned previously, that money is all going towards a good cause, so let’s get a show of hands: who’s interested in private lessons? Head on over to our forums, introduce yourself, and let us know if you want a lesson. We’ll be more than happy to work something out with you to make sure that you can still get the lesson you want, but not break the bank at the same time. Over the course of the upcoming weeks, we’ll be releasing more information in regards to pricing as soon as we’ve sorted it all out.

Speaking of tutorials, I'll be making a couple of videos soon (the first of which I'm already working on) for designing themes, coding themes (in HTML5 and CSS3), and integrating these themes into the Xcel Gaming Clan CMS. The initial series is scheduled to have 6 videos, 2 for each of the 3 aforementioned topics. After that, I'll end up doing a couple more videos on making modifications and extensions to the CMS and your website. Hit me up at my Twitter account if you're interested in learning anything else!
